Shah Rukh Khan is going through a rough phase owing to his son Aryan Khan’s arrest in a drug case. The 23-year-old was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau on October 3 after the agency raided a cruise ship in Mumbai. On Friday, a magistrate court denied Aryan and two others’ bail applications on technical grounds.
Shortly after the denial of Aryan Khan’s bail, director Karan Johar was spotted arriving at Shah Rukh’s sea-facing bungalow Mannat in Bandra. Karan Johar shares a special bond with the Khan family and has collaborated with King Khan on numerous films over the years. The Bollywood director also brought senior advocate Rustam N Mulla along with him to seek help regarding Aryan Khan’s arrest. Shah Rukh’s son is currently being represented by Advocate Satish Maneshinde who has previously fought Rhea Chakraborty and Salman Khan’s cases.
After Aryan’s arrest in the drug case, Shah Rukh Khan has received immense support from several people from the film industry to help him cope with the ongoing circumstances. One of them was Salman Khan who visited the superstar earlier this week. Shah Rukh and Salman are not only close friends but also live in the same street.
On the work front, Bollywood’s King of Romance is currently shooting for an upcoming Atlee directorial as well as Pathan (though the filming was recently interrupted due to Aryan’s arrest). Karan Johar, on the other hand, is busy filming scenes for his upcoming movie Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani which features Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles.
